Library resources for children and teens

children's room

The Seaside Public Library offers over 12,800 childrens' and young adult materials. These include books, magazines, audiobooks, and DVDs for all ages and interests.

We have 4 childrens' computers equipped with ebooks and games for kids, as well as six computers and an ipad for use by teens. Two Kindles preloaded with young adult titles are available for check out (parent or guardian signature required).

Our research databases include resources tailored to students in elementary and secondary school.

ROCC scholarship cards

A grant opportunity has enabled the Astoria, Warrenton, and Seaside libraries to fund Libraries ROCC (Rural Outreach in Clatsop County), a program designed to extend library services to any "out-of-town" children in Clatsop County who do not have access to a tax-supported library.
