Beginning June 11th  and running through August 24th the Seaside Public Library will be exhibiting original works by painter Linda Wyss. The show is titled, “Waterscapes and Naturescapes, Pastels and Watercolors” and will be presented in the Library foyer and Community Room.

Linda Wyss believes that creating art is a personal journey. It’s not always easy but the results can be a greatly satisfying achievement. To capture a moment in another creature’s life or the amazing quality of light in our coastal environment presented in a landscape or seascape the opportunity to touch the sublime.

She took her first watercolor classes in 2019 and then expanded to pastels in 2021. Her artwork has been displayed at Cannon Beach Arts and Trails End Art Association where she has been a member for six years. A native Oregonian, Linda has lived in Seaside since 2001
